3M Sun Control Window Films
3M Night Vision Series
3M Night Vision Series Window Films reduce the sun’s solar heat gain while helping to decrease furniture fade and annoying glare. The series earned the name “Night Vision” because it is easier to see outside at night when compared to traditional metallized films that are silver, amber, copper, bronze, and nickel. That is because they are dual reflective films, meaning that one side (interior) of the film is significantly less reflective than the other side (exterior). Installed on the interior surface of the glass pane, Night Vision films have a slight brown hue and are positioned between 3M Prestige Series and 3M Architectural Series Window Films.

3M Night Vision 15 Window Film is the darkest Night Vision Series film, allowing in 15% of the sun’s visible light. NV15 is a great film for commercial buildings needing a compromise between performance and aesthetics.

3M Night Vision 25 Window Film is the second darkest / second lightest Night Vision Series film, allowing in 25% of the sun’s visible light. NV25 is a great film for commercial buildings needing a compromise between performance and aesthetics.

3M Ceramic Architectural Series
3M Ceramic Architectural Series Window Films offer high heat rejection and enhanced views, all at an affordable price. Their non-metalized construction means lower interior and exterior reflectivity as compared to other films offering similar heat rejection. The film is offered in four various shades of blue-gray for the right balance between performance and aesthetics. Ceramic Architectural Series films are installed on the interior surface of the glass pane.

3M Prestige Series
3M’s Prestige Window Films reduce a window’s Solar Heat Gain Coefficient without the reflectivity associated with traditional dark films. That’s because Prestige Series films have been tuned to block out more of the sun’s infrared heat rather than visible light. These virtually colorless, clear, and metal-free films are made of over 200 nano-layers of polyester and are installed on the interior surface of the glass pane.

3M Prestige Exterior Series
3M’s Prestige Exterior Window Films reduce a window’s Solar Heat Gain Coefficient without the reflectivity associated with traditional dark exterior films. That’s because Prestige Exterior Series films have been tuned to block out more of the sun’s infrared heat rather than visible light. These virtually colorless and clear films are made of over 200 nano-layers of polyester and are installed on the exterior surface of the glass pane. An exterior installation is particularly useful when installation access to the interior surface is difficult or prohibited. Prestige Exterior films can be suitable for triple pane glass. Due to their metal-free construction, and unlike other exterior films, Prestige Exterior Series Window Films do not require edge sealing to maintain longevity.

3M Traditional Series
3M’s Traditional Series Window Films include shiny and dark films that incorporate older technology yet are still relevant today. They provide fantastic energy performance and will deliberately change a window’s appearance, which is particularly useful when glazing uniformity or facade rebranding is desired.

3M Neutral 20 Window Film is a neutral gray reflective film, allowing in 20% of the sun’s visible light.

3M Silver 15 Exterior Window Film is a silver reflective film with a 15% visible light transmission that is similar to Silver P-18 but is installed on the exterior glazing surface and requires edge sealing. It can be suitable for triple pane glass.

3M Silver P-18 Window Film is a silver reflective film, allowing in 20% of the sun’s visible light. It is most effective at rejecting the sun's heat during the summer. When installed on tinted glass, P-18 typically augments the glass’ existing color.
3M Safety & Security Window Films
3M Anti-Graffiti Films
3M Anti-Graffiti Window Films help reduce the costs associated with graffiti abatement and glass replacement. When applied to interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and other glass, 3M Anti-Graffiti Window Films provide protection by taking the brunt of vandalism. These sacrificial films are easily removed and replaced once vandals strike, exposing undamaged glass underneath.

AG43M Anti-Graffiti 4 is a 4-mil (.004") thick film installed on glass surfaces that are vulnerable to graffiti.

AG63M Anti-Graffiti 6 is a 6-mil (.006") thick film installed on glass surfaces that are vulnerable to graffiti. AG6 is used in higher-threat environments as compared to AG4.
3M Attachment Systems
Attachment systems are designed to hold a filmed piece of glass within the window’s frame, bonding the film to the glass to the frame. They play an essential role in the overall performance of security films and must be installed to meet 3M specifications.

3M Impact Protection Adhesive is a high strength, structural silicone sealant that looks like a typical aluminum storefront window gasket. IPA is available in black, white, and gray.
3M Exterior Safety Series
3M’s Exterior Safety Series Window Films feature an exterior-rated hard coat and are ideal when an interior application is not possible.

3M Safety S40 Exterior Window Film is a clear 4-mil (.004”) security film that can be used when no minimum film thickness is required.

3M Safety S70 Exterior Window Film is a clear 7-mil (.007”) security film that meets most GSA and other US Government thickness-based specifications for fragment retention and bomb blast resistance. Safety S70 Exterior is ideal for school hardening (for extra protection or when an interior application is not possible) and spontaneous glass breakage.
3M Safety Series
3M’s Safety Series Window Films are budget-friendly PET-based security films designed to hold broken glass in place. Safety Series films are installed on the interior surface of the glass pane.

3M Safety S40 Window Film is a clear 4-mil (.004”) security film that can be used when no minimum film thickness is required.

3M Safety S70 Widow Film is a clear 7-mil (.007”) security film that meets most GSA and other US Government thickness-based specifications for fragment retention and bomb blast resistance.

3M Safety S80 Window Film is a clear 8-mil (.008”) security film that meets most GSA and other US Government thickness-based specifications for fragment retention and bomb blast resistance. S80 is not as tear-resistant as ULTRA S800, which is 3M’s premium 8-mil safety film.

3M Safety S140 Window Film is a clear 14-mil (.014”) security film that meets UL972 and along with ULTRA S800, has been used for school hardening throughout the US.
3M ULTRA Series
3M’s Scotchshield ULTRA Series Safety & Security Window Films are manufactured of microcomposite interwoven layers of polyester (PET) to provide greater tear resistance than standard window films of similar thickness, including 3M’s Safety Series. ULTRA Series films are installed on the interior surface of the glass pane.

Manufactured by marrying a 6-mil (.006”) clear security film to Night Vision 25 (.002”), 3M ULTRA Night Vision S25 Window Film is the security film version of Night Vision 25 with a nominal thickness of 8 mils (.008”). It is appropriate when an 8-mil thick tinted film is needed for security and privacy, glare reduction, and/or heat rejection.

Manufactured by marrying a 6-mil (.006”) clear security film to Prestige 50 (.002”), 3M ULTRA Prestige S50 Window Film is the security film version of Prestige 50 with a nominal thickness of 8 mils (.008”). It is appropriate when an 8-mil thick medium tinted film is needed for security and heat rejection.

Manufactured by marrying a 6-mil (.006”) clear security film to Prestige 70 (.002”), 3M ULTRA Prestige S70 Window Film is the security film version of Prestige 70 with a nominal thickness of 8 mils (.008”). It is appropriate when an 8-mil thick light tinted film is needed for security and UV rejection.

3M Scotchshield ULTRA S800 Window Film is a clear 8-mil (.008”) microcomposite security film that is more tear-resistant than standard security films of similar thickness. It has been widely used for school hardening throughout the US. It is also used to mitigate bomb blasts and deter smash and grab crime. This film meets most GSA and other US Government thickness-based specifications for fragment retention.
3M Window Film System Series
3M’s next generation security films are made of urethane (TPU) rather than traditional polyester (PET). Urethane is more flexible than PET and provides substantially greater Elongation at Break when comparing materials of similar thickness. Window Film System Series films are installed on the interior surface of the glass pane.

3M Scotchshield Safety & Security Window Film System S2400 is 24 mils (.024”) thick, made of urethane (TPU), and provides substantially greater Elongation at Break (560%) than PET films of similar thickness. S2400 is optically clear and blocks out 99% of the sun’s UV rays.
3M Glass Finishes
3M Dichroic Series
3M’s value-engineered Dichroic Series films installed on clear glass (new or existing, inside or outside) duplicate the look of dichroic glass at a fraction of the price – usually 10% ($15 / sq ft of film vs. $150 / sq ft of glass).

3M DF-PA Dichroic Blaze Decorative Glass Film simulates dichroic glass by shifting colors in the warm tones of cyan/blue/magenta and red/gold color regions of the spectrum. Unlike other dichroic films on the market, this film contains an adhesive.

3M Dusted & Frosted Crystal Finishes
3M Crystal Finishes are industry-leading vinyl films that create privacy and disperse light at 1/3 of the price of sandblasted or etched glass. These films can be installed on the inside and outside, computer cut into logos and distraction markers, and digitally printed on.

3M Privacy Series
3M’s Privacy Series Window Films are budget-friendly polyester-based films.

3M’s One-Way Mirror film features a silver reflective front and a black non-reflective back. The film’s ability to provide one-way visibility ultimately depends on lighting conditions.

3M’s White Matte is an inexpensive 2-mil frosted polyester film that simulates etched or sandblasted glass.
3M FASARA™ Series
3M FASARA Glass Finishes are a value-engineered alternative to specialty, sandblasted, or etched glass. FASARA films can be applied to most any glass surface (interior or exterior) and require no added maintenance or special cleaning. When a new look is desired, simply remove the existing FASARA pattern and replace with a new one.
